There are many wonderful places online where you can take classes in many different subjects. These are a few of my favorites.
- ThirdAge Learning Center
- This is where I first learned html with Lorne and Lois, the 2 most dedicated tutors at ThirdAge, and later joined the faculty as the Homepage Basic and Advanced Homepage circle and chat hosts, as well as the TSOL Alumni chat host. Classes are free.
- LVS ONLINE
- This site has a large selection of courses, with an excellent series of classes in PSP (Paint Shop Pro). There is a small charge for the classes, but it's very well worth the money to take advantage of all LVS has to offer.
- Web Tech U
- Home of Yahoo/GeoCities online classes. Very good with volunteer instructors, but there are occasional problems with instructors not answering students' email.
- Code Warrior U
- I have yet to take a class there myself, but I know a few people who have and they were pleased with the courses. There appear to be quite a few of them in varied subject areas.
